Today, the National Flag Day of Ukraine is celebrated across the country. National flags are raised in all towns and villages. This is our historical spirit, this is our pride, glory and greatness of the nation.
With this symbol, the Ukrainian people confirmed their statehood, unity and independence, with it Ukrainians went to defend their rights and freedoms during the Revolution of Dignity, under this symbol today our soldiers defend their native land from the invaders.
At the moment when the Flag of Ukraine is raised and waving and the National Anthem is played, we feel elation that fills our hearts with pride for our native country.
I heartily congratulate all of you on the Day of the National Flag of Ukraine. I wish everyone happiness, goodness and peace! Let the yellow-blue flag of the will and unity of the Ukrainian people always fly proudly over Ukraine.
